Featuring two flute ensembles with 17 flutists from the Rochester Flute Association membership, the RFA Flute Choir and RFA Flute Ensemble will perform repertoire ranging from Celtic to jazz to classical on Sunday, June 9, 2013 at 2:30PM at the Blessed Sacrament Church, 534 Oxford St, in Rochester, NY. Directed by Rochester flutist and teacher, Laura Lentz, we invite everyone to join us!  Suggested donation (to raise money to purchase an alto flute):  $5.

Discover the blessing of supporting local farmers, eating fresh produce and socializing with your neighbors. The Monroe Village Farmers Market opens for the season on June 12th and continues weekly until October.  Join us on Wednesday afternoon 4:00-7:00 PM in the Blessed Sacrament Parking.  In addition to fresh produce, baked goods, beverages and flowers,  Moja will  provide lively music for your listening pleasure. 

This year the market will be managed by Amanda Rayburn and Sister Kathleen Wayne.  Help is needed to get the word out about the market.  If would like to volunteer to distribute flyers in your neighborhood or place lawn signs in the area, contact Amanda 585-750-1714 or acrayburn@rochester.rr.com

Vacation Bible Camp July 22-26 9:00 AM-Noon at Blessed Sacrament school and grounds.  Registration forms available on line, at the church doors and in the parish offices!  Children PreSchool (Age 4 and potty trained) through Grade 5 can join the VBC fun.  Middle School and High School students are encouraged to consider volunteering to help during the week.  Adults….there is even Bible Camp for you.  Mark your calendars and plan to attend.  For more information contact Sister Kathleen Wayne, kawmercyroch@yahoo.com or 271-7240.
